How this calculator works
It divides your total fence length by the post spacing to get the number of line posts (plus one extra end post), then sets the chain link fabric and top rail footage equal to the total run length.
Worked example — a 100 ft fence line at 10 ft post spacing:
100 ÷ 10 = 10 sections → 11 posts, plus 100 ft of mesh fabric and 100 ft of top rail.

The spacing above covers line posts only. Corners, ends, and gate openings need heavier terminal posts set in larger concrete footings — add those separately before ordering.
